Here's a more serious, hymn-y Christmas Playlist to get the third week of advent going. It's also rootsier and more female than the last one...Jars of Clay are the only boys on this one, unless you count the guy from Selah. The Patti Smith track may be the weirdest thing I've ever hear, but it's hypnotic. The Enya track inspired Cody to lay down, prone and dreamy, alone on the hall runner. I'm not sure whether he was meditating on the Rod of Jesse, or just zoning out on all the synthesizers.
