Why Jesus?
Like, of all the religions I could have fallen into, of all the crazy things I could have believed, starting, as I did, with a tabula rasa...why this?
All I know how to tell you is that one day, having hit bottom and having nothing to lose, I turned to him.
And it worked.
And everytime I turn to him, it works. And every time I don't, nothing does.
If you don't believe me, try it.
Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me. -Revelation 3:20
