Coming to America: Brooke Fraser

Brooke Fraser is coming to the US for SXSW and staying for a tour!  Do you love Brooke Fraser?  If you don't, you must just not know Brooke Fraser.  She sings like the lovechild of Feist and Lucinda Williams and looks like the lovechild of Lou Doillon, MIA, and Kim Kardashian. 

And best of all, she's a big fat Jesus-lover.  (When not waifing around with rad eyeliner, she writes songs for Hillsong, including the worship mainstay "Hosanna.")
 
Her new album, Flags, is fantastic.  It's already getting huge -- I heard "Something in the Water" in the mall yesterday, and the press is comparing her to Norah Jones!  Is this all part of a heavenly conspiracy to get Christian indie artists mainstream popularity (come back to the five and dime, Sufjan Stevens!) so that everybody else will love Jesus too?  I plan to be at her Fillmore show to find out.
